Sciential Online at McMaster University
Sciential is the Undergraduate Science Journal at McMaster University, we are a journal for science students, by science students. Our purpose is to get the undergraduate community familiar with the peer review and publishing process. This year we are incorporating more diverse pieces and lay summaries in order to increase accessibility to the whole undergraduate community.

This website allows students of more diverse backgrounds, or those who aren't interested in academic publishing to become familiar with science communication. Whether authors plan on performing research or going into professional or academic careers, we can all contribute to science communication in our own unique ways. This website features lay pieces by undergraduate students, most of whom are future scientists. SUBMISSIONS
SCIENTIAL & SCILINE
To submit a piece to SciLine or Sciential, go through McMaster's Open Journal System (OJS). Make sure that you go through the official manual detailing the types of pieces and accepted formats.

Some examples include lay summaries, blog pieces, and essays. This is a forum for publishing coursework that doesn't fit into predefined categories of the journal. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to get in touch!
